Yan-Yi Wang, Ph.D., Investigator. Dr Wang received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Peking University,University of Colorado School of Medicine, and Wuhan University, respectively. Before joining the Institute of Virology, she was employed as an instructor and later on promoted to associate professor at Wuhan University. Dr Wang's research is focused on molecular mechanisms of antiviral innate immunity and inflammation. Her research is primarily sponsored by grants from National Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Dr Wang has 13 publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals, such as Molecular Cell, PNAS, Cell Research and Immunity. She is a recipient of Young Scholar Award by the Chinese Society for Immunology.
